Overview
What if school leaders could instantly see where their revenue is really coming from? This project answers that.
Using a simulated dataset, I built an interactive Power BI dashboard to break down revenue by class and track performance across academic years. The goal was to turn scattered data into clear, actionable insights for better financial planning.
From a business lens, I focused on identifying high-revenue classes, spotting growth/decline trends, and understanding how different segments contribute to overall income—key inputs for pricing, admissions strategy, and resource allocation.
I cleaned and standardized inconsistent data using Power Query and built DAX measures for year-over-year analysis and dynamic reporting.
What I learned: translating business questions into KPIs, structuring messy data, building intuitive dashboards, and thinking beyond numbers to drive decisions.
Tools: Power BI, DAX, Power Query
